The problem with any of these Razer keyboards and mice is that if you want to setup custom lighting patterns or anything you are FORCED to create an account and log into Razer's cloud and the settings are stored in their cloud. Don't think for a second Razer isn't recording keystrokes you enter when logged into their cloud. The keyboard works fine without an account or the Razer software (you just can't set custom light settings.)
