I did not read the Twilight series but I did read The Host and did not want to put it down! Even though it was a huge book, I was sorry when I finished it, I wanted it to continue. I liked The Host so much that I even gave it to my mother to read. It's not normally her type of book but really enjoyed it, too.

i read both....hooked on twilight...pre-ordered this book....(next movie out june 30th) will pass this one to my kids.... : )

Oh I agree - I loved "Host". I wasn't thrilled with the 4th book (even after reading it a 2nd time). I've bookmarked the book - it will give me something to read when I'm in the hospital at the end of the month. *g*

I only read the first "Twilight" book, but do plan on reading the others when I get a chance. I've wanted to read "The Host" too. Glad to hear so many Spoofers enjoyed that one.
