http://www.rebate-tracker.com

Web application which assists in the management and tracking of rebate status.

After registering the details of a rebate (or selecting from the existing rebates in the application's database), you will see metrics on how much you saved and when you should expect the rebate.

Not a real big deal unless you are expecting a lot of rebates in the future.

Yeah, I've seen this posted here before. Never tried it, but I think a lot of people think it's a very useful tool. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I've found a few bugs/annoyances with the program. For example, I can't find a way to delete a rebate from my profile; I selected the wrong rebate and now I can remove it. Also, when I edit the description of a rebate I am tracking, the program appears to create a new rebate instead of modifying the original record.

Apart from these problems, the program is fairly handy. I'm currently tracking at least 10 rebates -- it's becoming difficult to remember when all of them are supposed to be mailed to me :)

I keep a spreadsheet which works well for me. All you need to do is set it up and Excel can calculate when the rebate should be received. Another good idea is to keep a folder with all your unreceived rebate materials in case they ask you to send something out again. :)

I do the same. I have an excel spreadsheet that I put all of the details in. I update it when I get a rebate in and if I have a problem I go to it and get the phone number and other details. I have a file I keep copies of everything in case the rebate is ever "lost".
