Their partner restaurant, Olive Garden, has the never ending pasta bowl for $8.95. Includes all the salad breadstick, and pasta you can eat.

Shrimp, or Pasta? I think I will go for the SHRIMP!!! :)

I can get much better shrimp around here than Red Lobster for about half the price. It may not be all you can eat, but it's more than I can eat. I'll take the pasta.

I love this deal at Red Lobster. I must say every year I've gone for it they stack up the shrimp again & again & give you a plate or two extra at the end & let you take it home. I'll be going again for sure, here's hoping I get another server willing to pile it up for a good tip.

the few times i have caught this deal, they bring me a few shrimp to start and then the waiter/waitress disappears. By the time they come back, and get my order in, my family is finished with their meals and ready to go.

Definately the sort of thing that relies on your server. I know I've gotten lucky & there's probably more of you with this experience than my own.

Do I need to order appetizers, drinks, or deserts? What do I need to "let your waiter/waitress know when you are ready for more"? Does it mean that they just bring out the same shrimp entrees I order until I am full and I only pay for preset price?

ShrimpS - tee hee.

It helps if when your waiter/waitress first shows up you ask them their name (if they don't tell you) so you can call for them by name when they disappear. Also, when you sit down make it clear in a kind way that you would like for them to check back with you in xx minutes so you may refresh your order. Each time you see them ask for drink refills - more napkins - anything that gets them to return to your table.

Finally, tip graciously so they are encouraged to be shrimp-friendly to the next diners.

Just let your server know what you want. They can't read your mind. With a friendly smile, say something like, "Listen, I'm really hungry this evening, so I'm going to get the endless shrimp. Please be generous with the portions and keep them coming, and I will be generous as well." I guarantee you'll get a boatload of shrimp, and you'll be carrying a container home. If the server holds up his end of the deal, make sure you do too.
