Refurbished Tomtom One 130 GPS Navigation System for $54.99 Shipped After Rebate

Newegg has it for $49.99 after rebate. I got it and love it!
 
Problem with the refubs is they don't have the updated map guarantee. New maps may double the final price of the GPS. Also they may only have 90 day warranty.
 
Good call with the Newegg I canceled my Buy.com order and ordered it there instead. Even with paying the $2.00 shipping its cheaper there. Also, if you go through ebates.com to place your order you'll get a 2% rebate, (instead of the 1% rebate offered by buy.com)


After rebate my total will be $51.98 (plus $1.04 back on my ebates rebate.) Not too shabby!

I am not sold on GPS. My street was built in 2001 and is still not in most GPS units. It's not like I live in the middle of nowhere either; I am in a suburb 3 miles away from the 18th largest city (by poulation) in the US. Fedex couldn't find my house with theirs and a couple of other service people have not been able to either. Someone came today and said it wasn't in theirs.

Anyway, Amazon has it cheaper after rebate than buy or new egg ($47.98):

damn could of saved another couple bucks...on the upside newegg has a 3 day delivery, if you go free super saver on amazon it can take 10 days or more to get it so I guess its kinda worth the extra two bucks.

actually they come with a 6mth warranty as opposed to the year warranty on new ones..also, you can get the latest map you just gotta call instead of the normal way, i found this quote from a customer review on amazon...

"You cannot just download a new set with "Lastest Map Guarantee" from TomTom. This is due to the age unit and nature of being refurbished. HOWEVER, TomTom will allow you to download the lastest map set per there "Lastest Map Guarantee" by simply calling and providing proof-of-purchase. This must be done within 30 days."
