How about a fun game of remember when ....

Remember when... we rode bikes to the corner pharmacy for Cherry Coke from the fountain and a bag of penny candy?? :proud:

...we carried around a can of hairspray?

I remember when all of the neighborhood kids and even the adults played kickball in the middle of the street on Summer nights. :) We had so much fun! :woot: I really miss being a kid sometimes. :(

....Michael Jackson's "Beat It" was playing on the radio.

...... we played with lawn darts?

...driving to Florida on a family vacation in '67 Dodge station wagon (Dad at the wheel, driving one-handed and smoking a cigar), 90mph, wrestling with your brother & sister (no seat belts) and Dad turns to smack you for making a ruckus?

 BTDT in a '69 Caddy! No cigar tho, chain cigarette smoking with no A/C and the windows open!

I remember 35 cent a gallon gas

....we used to ride bicycles and skateboards with no helmets or shoes!

Remember when HD-DVD seemed like the format that would win the marketplace?

I remember 35 cent a gallon gas

I remember "gas wars" when a gallon of gas was the same price as a pack of cigarettes - 25 cents.

I used to buy cigarettes for "my dad" of course, after the Saturday kiddy double feature which I seem to recall being 30 cents, popcorn was a dime a bag (dime bags became much more expensive in the 60s ;) ), candy a nickel a box (boxes became more expensive too :o ) and I think the big drink was a dime.

I remember when the battle was between VHS and Betacam. I believe Betacam was better but VHS won (obviously).

~I could fill my car up and get a pack of smokes for $12

~We would tape songs off the radio

~We played with our imaginations

~Seatbelts were a choice and five of us would ride up front in a truck, or better when the kids rode in the back

~ The sound of an ice cream truck ( haven't seen one in years)

~ Pegging our jeans was cool

~ We wore our watches backwards

Remember when the USA was a respected world leader in human rights issues?
