Does anyone have any suggestions for replacements for MS Outlook Express for handling email? Thanks!

I use Gmail now, and Mozilla makes a thing called Thunderbird which I haven't tried, but it must be good if it's made by Mozilla.

www.mozilla.org

PocoMail www.pocomail.com (this is what I currently use)
Euroda www.eudora.com

Then there's other apps such as The Bat! and Pegasus which are older and last time I used either one, weren't very UI friendly.. Pegasus was an extremely good app, just not very user intuitive.. If you like using IE to views your email, try Eudora.. If you want to be free from the evil crap you can get by using Outlook and IE, I suggest you look at Pocomail..

For browser alternatives, I suggest looking at Opera, Mozilla and Firefox then choosing whichever one you're most comfortable with....

Again, its alot about ppls preference, so I'd suggest taking a look at everything above and picking whichever one you like the best. Just know that whatever you pick will be tons better then anything Microsloth can dish out.. =)

There's also GUI alternatives for Explorer as well if you want to go all out, but those require more effort to configure and use on your part.

I have tried Thunderbird and it runs neck and neck with Outlook Express. The only thing I did not like was that it did not have a signature randomizer with it. I did find an extension, but it didn't work very weil. :( Besides that it worked great. :)

I haven't tried Thunderbird yet, I have to when I get a chance.

I've been using Gmail lately so I haven't been using any clients at all, but I could always use Gmail with POP and Thunderbird if it's decent.

non related question:
what is the command to see all config variable of firefox.
something like 'about:' which will allow you to edit firefox configuration in one page.
