(Resolved) lol I'm really Curious about why my posts are edited ???

I post a valid thread with valid links and then someone edits it = I can't edit it myself again... why is this done ??? Just wondering... If I was left a message with a reason that would be nice :)

I think it is because Spoofee puts some of your posts on the front page. He'll clean up the links so it looks nice. Once it goes on the front page, Spoofee doesn't want people editing their posts to prevent abuse.

Spoofee always tries to make things look nice. Sorry Curious, but I don't think he owes you any explanations. He is nice enough to provide this site for us to have a place to share freebies and good deals. Spoofee Rocks!!!!! :claps: :claps: :claps:

Sorry muff, but its not just him being nice. This is not just a forum for us "to share freebies and good deals." He gets paid for every ad and link we click and gets a 'referral percent' when we buy an item through one of his links.

Technically no one owes anyone any explanations for anything. But the courteous thing to do would be to put something in box that asks, "Reason for editing" or whatever.

Thanks guys and thanks CuriousOption for the good deal.

Next time, I'll either reply with something like "Thanks, I posted it on the front page" or make use of the "Reason for Editing" like LS suggested.

I think that would be to everyone's benefit if the user is posting stuff good enough for the front page, because if people don't understand why their posts are disappearing, they might stop posting.

The posts aren't being deleted.. just edited. :)
