1. Go to Restaurant.com

2. Enter a zip code to shop.

3. Click Add to Cart for the certificates you'd like.

4. Click "Check Out" and enter code DINE for 80% off. Click "Recalculate Total" to apply your savings.

It's 80 % off any I think.
Just tried $100 and instead of $40 it showed $8
 
That's correct even the normally priced $3 ones ($10 value) are 80 off

yeah, its probably getting hammered right now. if only they had some certificates for restaurants i eat at
 
I love these sales, I bought a bunch last time they had this offer. I was very skeptical but the restaurants took them no problem. I love going out to eat and spending less than I would have if I took the time to cook at home.
 
One per visit?

Can you by multiple coupons and use them at the same time or is it 1 per visit?
 
I have a minimum purchase question. For example, it says $35.

Now, usually that means $35 -$25

But since I'm getting this sooo cheap, I'm smelling a catch. Is it actually minimum $50? Meaning, if my bill is at least $50, I'm taking off that $25 and paying them at least $35.

Make sense?
 
Try a different browser I used internet explore and it worked for me. All my Restaurants were sold out.....Good luck
 
Its just a Gimmick to buy the cards.. Most of the restaurants have a minimum purchase + around 18% gratuity is added..

Sorry to break the bubble but here is an example:

You buy a $25 card for $10 - where some restaurants have min purchase of 35.. + 18% gratuity. Therefore - you spend 10$ for card + you spend 10$ (min purchase 35$) + 18% gratuity is $3.6 = TOTAL $23.6

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're thinking along the right track... I consider these certificates more like coupons instead of "traditional" gift certificates. But with the 80% off promo code, your $25 certificate costs $2, not $10. And the 18% gratuity is usually off the pre-discounted tab (minimum gratuity is $6.30), So you're looking at an out of pocket cost of $18.30 for a $35 meal tab. Also, you need to read and re-read the terms & conditions of each particular certificate because they sometimes have extra stipulations such as beverages not included in minimum purchase, four entree purchase required, not valid on weekends or holidays, etc...
 
all of the places have a minimum you have to spend...that is how much your dining check comes to...then you present the gift certifcate that you bought for $2 (80% off right now) then you leave a tip (you should leave a tip based on the amount of purchase--not the cost after you deduct your coupon).....SO, buy your $25 coupon for $2 then you go eat and spend at least $20 or $35 (depending on the restaurant) then you leave a tip (I usually leave 20% anyway). Here is the breakdown.... for ex. a $40 bill will cost you $2 (for the coupon) then $5 ($40 dinner bill minus the $35 coupon) then $8 (that is based on a 20% tip on the amunt of the bill) therefore you are only spending $15 for a $40 meal and that is including a good tip! That IS a deal! I have used these coupons for our local restaurants and there is no other catch than stated. It's awesome!

Coupons work exactly as stated. I use them frequently with no hassles at all. A couple of tips I haven't seen posted: 1)This promo runs about once a month, something like full price for a week, then 40% off for a week, then 60, then 80. 2) Coupons seem to be good for a year. When your a favorite rest. is available stock up!
 
Most ones I wound've spend the money are already out. :sad:

I didn't want to say anything but since it's even printed on main page, I wanted to mention that... if you get $100 gift certificate for $8... isn't that 92% off, not 80% off? Or is it really 80% off.
