Does anyone have any suggestions for purchasing Cat5e plugs/jacks/faceplates for a home network. I have been to a few sites that charge ridiculouse shipping. Any help in an online place to order would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

home depot has that stuff, not sure on the price of fixtrues but i think actual cat5 was 16 cents per foot.

As Protégé Ménacé noted, Home Depot is great for finding these types of items for a relatively low price.

Looks like most online stores that have these items for pretty low prices charge around $8 for shipping (up to 1 lb).

I'm not sure what kind of prices you were seeing during your search, but you might want to check out showmecables.com. they have CAT-5e RJ45 Keystone jacks for $1.99 ea, Faceplates for $0.99 each, and 10" Cat5e cables for $2.36 ea. They charge $8.15 for shipping for up to one pound of items.

btw, approximately how many did you need of each of these items?
