After looking at that review, on the last page, they updated thier take on the 6/10 rating.

After it was all said and done, they gave it about an 8.7/10 rating.

We bought one of these for a manager at work back when they were around $500

The picture is excellent and its a great looking monitor ... however ... the screen developed these weird bright spots after about 6 weeks. So we contacted Samsung for an RMA ... they do crosships luckily, but it did take 2 weeks to arrive. When the RMA arrived it was slightly dinged up on the plastic, etc.... so they give factory refurbs if you have to RMA not a new monitor ... which was a bigger deal when they were $500 I guess.
