For those of you who don't regularly check the Deal of the Day sites, SecondAct.com has the Samsung BDP1000 Blu-Ray Disc Player for 399.99 + 9.99 shipping. SecondAct is a DOD site, so in other words, this deal is only good for one day.
When these were first released, they retailed for 999.99. Froogle shows the prices still in the $500-600 range. If you're LUCKY, you can find it on ebay for $415 shipped, but most are going between $450 - $520 shipped.
I guess it's not that hot, but still not a bad price from a reputable company. but then again, you could always get a PS3....
