Comes with a starter cart, add $80 for another toner cart after 1,000 pages. Cheap printers usually have high price toner. Thats how the manf makes the money.

I have this printer from a previous deal in Nov. 2003. I'm still printing with the cartridge that came with the printer. I still have purchased new toner for this printer and the cost was $79.xx plus tax. This gives you a new drum new toner new fixer etc. ala Hewlett-Packard. Toner is hard to find tho, I had to special order it from Reliable Office Supply. From them, it was still free dely. It just took a couple of days longer than it should. BTW the printer works well.

Toner is available !!!

Hello, I purchased a ML-1710 last Nov. and I love it. As far as toner goes, head over to ebay and type in ML-1710 and enjoy toner for as little as $6.00 a refill. Yup the cartridge has a small plug in the side and all you have to do is pour in the toner. You usually can do this 3 times before you will need to actually replace the whole cartridge. I work in the printer/copier industry and I do this with many different styles and types of machines and have done it with mine twice so far with perfect results.

This deal has been going on for a month and most zipcodes are sold out. You may be able to select instore pickup as the ship location and get it that way. But it looks pretty much like it is sold out everywhere.
