Buy.com has this SanDisk 128MB SmartMedia card priced at $26 with free shipping.
 
not bad, but you can get this around $18 with rebates....
 
yeah, you can pay a few bucks more and get it without the rebates because i know a lot of my friends dont like to deal with rebates.
 
yeah, same here. But whatever, I have my Rebate! Rebate! software which tracks my rebates..... (/me glances over at it) AYEEE! I'm waiting for 13 rebates totally $760! AYEE!

Have you ever been denied a rebate or did you ever not receive one :?:
 
yup, 1 denied, for a mouseman, well, not denied, but I couldn't follow up because I didn't have the paperwork.

I have had like 40 total, and 13 are pending, 1 follow up was sent, and one was denied.
 
I'm a relative newbie to rebates and am planning to post my mail in rebates with Delivery Confirmation - USPS as a small package, so that I have proof of delivery. It is quite reasonable at about 1.25$ or so. What do you normally use to ensure that your mail-in rebates are not lost ?
 
lol, you don't need that. I have never had a LOST rebate, you just call 8 weeks later and say that you sent but never received. They say resubmit, and I do, and I get my rebate. I just use normal envelope and $.37 - $.60 of shipping depending on weight.

Just keep good track of your rebates. I recommend the program Rebate! Rebate! which is available for download here.
