SanDisk 1GB miniSD Card for $43.43 Shipped After Rebate

I'm new to all this SD Card things, but I think I need to buy one since I've recently purchased a Treo 650...

This deal has the SanDisk 1GB miniSD Card for $43.43, but 2 days ago, there was the Viking 1GB 33x SD Card for $24.95.

Is there an advantage of having one over the other? I would have thought that b/c the Viking one is much cheaper, it's better to buy that one.

am I wrong? thanks!
 
Well a miniSD card is different from a normal SD card. Mini's are generally used in cell phones, so you'll want to check the Treo instruction manual and see which one it calls for.
 
Great, I've been looking for a miniSd card. Stupid ebayer seller I bought it from never shipped have to wait another day so I can get my refund from paypal. Hopefully this doesn't sell out by then. Anyone knows if this sale is in store too? I am willing to drive to s frys to save on shipping. Thanks spoofee.

If you're using it for the Treo performance doesn't really matter, since the phone would never achieve full write/read speeds (well my mpx220 doesn't anyways). just get the cheaper one and if it isn't compatible just return it and get the SD one. Some phones are picky with certain makes/size cards.
