Am I correct in understanding that if, within 30 days I send in the rebate form, they'll send me a rebate check for $10, making this item even cheaper?

I know, probably selling my soul to advertisers for $10, but I think they have all the info on us anyhow, so why not make them pay?

Any thoughts????:worry:

This is a sweet deal and if it can be less than $10, it's even better :claps:

From the wording there, you have to make a copy of your receipt and the rebate to send it to the specified address there to receive the $10.

I dont really need one right now, but its a great deal so I will. The math doesn't add up to me, I find it to be $21.25 after an even $30 rebate. None the less, a great deal, thanks.

PS; The google checkout is very safe, worth the $10 bucks.

When it's too good to be true, it isn't

I started to order one, but was unwilling to pay the $54.72 that they wanted to charge - yes, $54.72. I told them to cancel the order. They claim that they don't charge an account until the merchandise is shipped. They charged mine. After talking to the credit card company I got the impression that there are many unhappy customers - maybe I should say "ex-customers" with BUY.COM.

im not sure i understand. the price of the item wasn't a surprise going into the order. this is the simple, ancient method of a transaction. you pay for something, you get something. its a $30 mail in rebate and a $10 google checkout instant rebate, plus a % off coupon. if you did it right, your card would have been charged only ~$40, then you mail in for a $30 rebate. buy.com is more than a good online store. perfectly fine to order from them.

The last time they did this I didnt get the rebate.

Also bare in mind these are the slowest flash drives Sandisk makes, weighing in at 10MB/sec READ, and 4MB/sec WRITE

So if you don't care if it takes 20 minutes to fill it up....go right ahead and buy one.
