If this unit comes with U3 software (useless for most) be aware that it will install it (or part there of) on every computer you insert it into not cool if you're working on a client's system.

Go to Add/Remove to uninstall it.

The U3 software doesn't install on any computer. It automatically runs from the flash drive when inserted into a USB port. If you don't want U3 to run hold down the shift key while inserting the drive.
 
Tell you what...

Insert it in someone's computer and once recognized, go to Add/Remove and tell me if it's not listed...

You're gonna be surprised.

I know cause I suffered the embarrasement with a client's system.
