SanDisk Sansa 1GB MP3 Player $60.36 Shipped After Rebate

Yea, hardly any mp3 player these days come with expandablity. Also I don't see any room for the sd card anywhere on the player.

I bought a Sandisk e130 mp3 player before I got my iPod, and it DID have a SD Slot

I wasn't aware that they made the M200 series with expansion slots, but it's either a typo on multiple websites (which is possible) or it's a new version with expandability.

I have the m250 (2 GB), and I LOVE it, but it would be a really tight squeeze to get an SD card into the body of the the M200 series players.

Either way - even without the expandable slot, $60 for this player is a good deal, in my opinion.

If you have any questions about features/compability with this player, please let me know.

I highly doubt this one having an expandability since Sandisk's website doesn't even mention that in the m240.

Anyone actually have one of these with the expansion slot?

my suggestion is to place a purchase and then if it doesn't have the slot and if you really wanted one with expandability, just return it. After all, if the store says it has a slot and it doesn't, its a wrong item, ain't it?

I'm also pretty sure there is no sd slot on this. But feel free to take your chances...great price either way. I got it for $70 on Black Friday. It's a great MP3 player.

I would like to mention that the z100 series all DO have expansion slots.

Basically, the only difference between the m200 series and the e100 series is 1) e100's have expansion slots
2) e100's have "SRS effects", m200 series do not.

Again, I have the m250, and it's a great little player. The advantage of the m200 series over the e100 series is the fact that the m200's are compatible with the "to go" services of Napster, Rhapsody, etc - the e100's are NOT, even though you may think they do, they only allow you to use purchased MP3s from these services.

I have Rhapsody to Go, and for $15 a month, you can put unlimited songs on your MP3 player from millions of songs. It's so much better than buying CDs at the store or trying to download songs from P2P software, plus, it's legal.

I'm still really doubting that there's a new m200 series player with an expansion slot, but I could be wrong.
