SanDisk Sansa 512mb MP3 Player /w SD Explansion Slot for $44.95 Shipped After Rebate

SanDisk Sansa E130 512MB MP3 Player W/ SD Expansion Slot

I've had one of these since Christmas, and it's great. By swapping out SD cards, your playlist is virtually unlimited, but there are no moving parts (like an HD) to wear out.

SD prices are coming down, and that makes it even better.

The only problem I have is the SD cards are so small, occasionally I'm "fumble fingered" with them, and I fear dropping and losing one on a plane (I haven't yet though.)

This item gets a five star rating from me, and this is a good price. :bigok:

I got the Dane Elec mp3 player/usb adapter for free with my 512 mb SD card at Target for $39.99 (reduced from $59.99). I like it, although it doesn't have a screen, as it suits my needs. It just went on sale to 29.99 two days ago.... It takes one AAA battery (I use rechargables) if you need something rough and small. I wish I had a screen on my mp3 player, but since I just got two 512 mb transflash cards w/SD adapters from Tech-Ops.Net for $40 total, including S&H I'm just going to start using my E815 for my mp3's! :-D

You think SD cards are small!?! check the size of transflash cards! Back to the post... This does look like a great item to get. If I didn't have three devices that played mp3's (two of which do video, too) I'd get it :-D

First of all, VYZE needs to keep this thread on topic and not talk about other unrelated mp3 players that suck.

That being said, I have owned the Sandisk Sansa E130 for several months now and have been very satisfied. The FM Tuner is okay, though you cannot use equalizer settings. Audio quality of mp3 is great if you adjust the EQ settings. This player supports SRS WOW settings, but using this greatly reduces battery life. The firmware is easily upgradeable. Currently the player supports 2GB SD cards, and with 512MB built in, you can easily have more space than an iPod Nano for about half the cost. Being a solid state mp3 player means it is great for active individuals who don't have to deal with any moving parts. Also, for active individuals, this player includes a stopwatch feature. The E130 supports Windows WMA, WMA-DRM, and mp3 files.

I would recommend this player to anyone who is looking for a low-cost mp3 player with excellent sound quality and especially if they have SD cards laying around from other devices.
