SBC Yahoo! DSL just lowered the monthly rate of their Express Package to $19.95 per month for DSL.

I started using their service in October of 2004, and called SBC @ 1-877-SBC-DSL5 (1-877-722-3755) to see if I could switch to the lower rate. I spoke with a Customer Care Specialist who began a new one-year contract for me at the lower rate. I just saved $56 over the next 8 months by making a quick 10 minute phone call.

For those who don't have DSL and are considering this offer, you can sign up online to get the $19.95 Express Package rate w/ a one year contract.

Not anymore, this $19.95 price is now available to new customers (no need to sign up for a long distance plan). They just need to sign up for a one year contract (same term as their previous deal at $26.95/mo)

It's also available to current customers who agree to a new one year contract.

I believe you need to have your local phone service provided by SBC in order to be able to take advantage of the $19.99/mo DSL service.

You can call 1-877-722-3755 to ask this requirement. You can also call the same number for tech support.

So, if one doesn't have sbc phone line subscription, then you can't get the yahoo dsl for 20 bucks! that sucks

It varies depending on the phone plan to which you'll subscribe. Probably around $40-$50 per month, including local phone service, DSL, taxes & other charges.
