Scared....ok please tell me...who had to go to a foot doctor to get a bunion removed

ok please tell me...who had to go to a foot doctor to get a bunion removed and How old were you when you had it done? Last question, do they have to put you to sleep while they fix your foot?

I'm scared to be put under for them to removed my bunion ..why I'm asking does age affect the procedure ..like tonsils..it's best to get them out when you're young because you can die if removed when you're older? LOL I know it sounds weird but I'm 40 and scared of having foot surgery.

Sorry, but I've never had the surgery. If you want to know what it feels like to have a doctor break your nose to fix it, I could tell you that story.

Best thing to do is discuss the surgery with the surgeon! I looked it up, and from what I saw, often they are able to give an anesthetic to cover pain that doesn't sedate the patient. However, it says sedatives may be used. I'm sure the doc will be able to confirm the details based on the extent of the surgery involved to remove the bunion. Good Luck! I've had my share of surgeries....of course they all have their risks...but many are necessary. Spaz...OUCH!

You might ask about care so you know what to do after. Also wear proper shoes those things are caused by tight shoes.

enjoy it! I have died, it's no big deal, they brought me back after being dead for between 5 and 7 minutes, it did take me months to recover but the obvious injury was nothing compared to what it could have been, I woke up walking and talking so I was good. Although again, dying is no big deal, I am no longer afraid of death, and I am now dying to live instead of living to die, it will b ok either way.
