Seagate 160GB UATA Hard Drive for $39.99 After Rebate

Honestly, this isn't that great of a deal considering that you can get the SATA version for $10 more usually and if one is looking for the UATA, at this price they could find a 200gig version. Just my $.02

IDE ATA 120gb deal?

My harddrive is dying and I need to replace it. I called up Dell and found out the motherboard only support up to 120gb for ATA. Any deal on 120gb, 100gb or 80gb ATA internal drive?

SATA is Serial ATA. Be sure your motherboard supports this type of interface before you purchase one! It uses a cable that looks like a regular wire with flat connectors on each end. UATA is Ultra ATA, this uses the high quality low noise IDE ribbon cable. Newer systems are going to the SATA, but many still use the UATA.

Hope that helped.
