That hard drive's got some pretty bad reviews, my friends. First off, it's the bare drive, so....you don't get a complete retail hard drive, and lord knows where it's been once it's out of the box. Lots of people give it a 1 Egg review, and the 1 Egg's are up to 25% of the total reviews. If you get it, make sure it's for storage only, lets say....backing up your data once per month and then leaving it in a closet somewhere, not powered up continuously.

I don't want to sound like TOO much of a nerd, but I'd rather see people avoid a good deal than realize that might be getting ripped off. From what I hear, the drive is slow, a handful of people have gotten dead on arrival hard drives, if not dead within the first month or shortly thereafter, and the thing clicks up a storm. Use your better judgment I suppose. The thermaltake drive is cool, but not worth $50. I got the Kingwin EZ-Dock and that thing is pretty neat, that and it was $25 dropped to $15 after MIR at one point.
