Amazing price but item has some mixed reviews, one said:

"This is a BULK commercial use item. It is in the "gift" category on the website. It comes in a plain brown box with each piece in plastic and then rubberbanded. Upon removal of a few pieces, it is found to be very poor quality. Mass produced and not polished. They have rough edges and sharpness around the spoon. NOT what I expected. NOT even for $16 on SALE from $40. This is not manufactured well enough for home use and is packaged for restraunt low end dining."

I like this reviewer's comment:
:hahaha:
"Anyway, I think I'll order another set for myself and use it for Thanksgiving dinner this year instead of plastic."

Looks like they are sold out for shipping already. :(

Dang. OOS everywhere near me too. Would've been a great xmas or wedding gift.

Arrrgggggg.....Completely OOS in the Baltimore, MD area. OOS in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster/Hanover, PA area. South jersey (including 1 store in Philly) is OOS (Pennsauken/Deptford/Vineland areas). Also tried an area near up-state New York (Near Fort Drum, if you know where that is) and also OOS.

None available for shipping/delivery.

My wife and I have 5 kids, with the oldest being 10. We go through a LOT of silverware because the kids are always losing it--I guess they throw it away.... This would have been ideal. Oh well....

=( i really needed this cause i just moved to an apt and i'm using really crappy plastic utensils till i can find a good deal

 I wonder what happens to my silverware, too! I have three boys and I guess mine goes in the trash as well! LOL

If you're just looking for cheap flatware...

We have 8 kids and go through silverware like crazy too. I just pick up the 6-packs of inexpensive steel forks, spoons and butter knives at WalMart when we run low. At 6 pieces/$1 it's nice enough for daily use but cheap enough that I don't want to scalp the children every time I have to buy more.

We have 7 kids total, what I have found as the best deal is going to the dollar store you can usually find animal themed forks, spoons and knives, they are a harder plastic than normal plastic cutlery so they are keepable, they come 24 to a pack, although at a dollar a pack it's ok to trash them or lose them. This is what we buy for our kids and we use the real stuff. I have found them at 4 different dollar stores in our area, check out the one in your area, it is a great deal!

You'de be surprised how much more motivated the kids are about making sure these don't get thrown away too!
