I just got back from the movie - and it was just FABULOUS!!!!!
You have to see it!
It does not disappoint in any way - I got everything I was hoping for.
There are the laughs, the tears, the drama, the love, the sisterhood, the Carrie-isms - her little catch phrases she makes up.
It was just a delight. If you ever watched an episode and enjoyed it, you will love this movie. It really doesn't matter if you have never even seen the show - there is a very painless few minutes at the beginning which summarizes everything very nicely for you. Clueless hubby was able to follow along, no problem!
Of course if designer names make you go weak at the knees, then you have probably already pre-purchased your tickets! There is one particular scene, where Carrie is trying on some old clothes from her wardrobe, deciding which to keep and which to toss. She does a fashion parade for the girls that is just priceless - it will stir up memories and make you laugh at the same time.
I don't want to give away too much, but if you want to know the answer to any of these questions, you will get them if you see the movie!
* Does Charlotte end up happy?
* Is Miranda still with Steve?
* Does Samantha get married?
* Who has children and how many?
and of course the BIG one...
* Do Carrie and Big get married and live happily ever after??????
Even if you are not a fan, I promise you will be interested in the answers to those questions when you see this! It's THAT good! :claps:
