Shure Sound Isolating Earphones for $111.99 Shipped

If I'm going to pay $112 for some headphones, they better have a 10/10 rating!!

;)

The model # on the website says E3C-N-EFS and there is no product information, but if you search just for for E3C you find headphones for $179 plus a full product description. Anyone know what might possibly be different with these headphones? Are they an older model?

If they're Shure they're bound to be great headphone regardless of model #. Still I wouldn't put down $100 for something I can't, personally, hear a difference from a mid quality one.

HAve you tried them before? MY brother uses the lower end e2c and the sound is incredible compared to the sony fontopia.

So im guessing the e3c is even better..

But it seems the prices on ebay are cheaper

I agree with kidneylovr. Just too much for me. :(

I didn't even know headphones ever cost that much...wow!!! Is there really any difference? The music plays straight into your brain anyways.

Some peole swear there's a big difference, but if you're like me you can't tell from a mid quality pair of headphones. For $100+ I would get a nice set of noise cancelling headphone instead.

I just ordered a pair of Etymotic ER6i isolators. Supposedly, they are a better earphone than the Shure E3c's, and they're $90 at Amazon.
