Thank you dcoonrad78! And there's no tax.

Also if you go on ebay, there are tons that's ending auction in the $40-45 range.

While I'm sure there are enough people interested in this to make frontpage, this really should be rated as "Not a deal" since the cost is retail.

I agree. People want Elmo, but unless you know where it is being sold for 20-40% off, I don't consider it worth deal status.

I just found one at my local Kohls store. $40.00 seemed like a waste of money so I just put it back...Kohls stores are receiving deliveries of it today.

IMHO I think it is a deal since these were difficult to find and people are still paying more than retail (albeit just a little more) for these on eBay.

i paid more than retail for it on ebay....$57 to be exact. But my kid will have it for christmas and she is already jumping up and down waiting for it. I received it yesterday and it's hidden in the house. I'm not gonna let $15 (more or less) stop me from getting the #1 toy of this season. Frankly I would pay over $100 for it since my kid wants it so bad, but luckily I didnt have to go there. :)

I bought one on E-bay 2 days ago for 30.00$ + 15 for shipping. So you can also get it cheap on E-bay if you cannot find it locally

I had 12 of these TMX Elmos. I saw them selling for $150 each for the first week after release, then the prices started dropping. They stayed around $80 for a while. I held onto all of mine, thinking that the demand would drive up the prices immediately before Christmas, but now the supply is way way up and I have seen them average for about $40 on ebay. Since there is a listing fee, I would lose money if I sold it for $40, so I have been selling them locally for $50. I also sold a few on ebay for about $50 and charged about $20 for shipping priority.

Bottom line, there is no reason for you to not to be able to find a TMX Elmo at this point. You may have to pay extra for shipping, or realize it will arrive shortly after Christmas, but you can definitely find them.

Snorkel is coorect. I made about $3 on mine on ebay and that was only since I had used the google checkout. There were about 4000 of them at the time on there. You would be better selling locally on Craigslist and you can use textpayme for payment (it's free to send and receive money).

I bought one as a surprise gift and found out it's a duplicate -- somebody else beat me to the punch!

If someone wants to Paypal me $50 (figure $39.99 + tax that I paid, plus split the shipping cost) I'll be happy to ship it out. (Not meaning to use this forum to pimp my stuff.. just figuring I'll help someone out who really wants one!)
