(Sold Out) Nintendo WII for $249.99 Shipped

Are these *still* really in high demand and hard to find?

Just curious...

My husband bought one for me for my birthday. He was at Kmart and just saw it on the shelf and bought it along with a Wii Fit. Maybe he was a lucky one...

Seems like stores are getting more and more of them, I think its going to get tougher the closer they get to the holidays but it seems like the actual system demand is finally being met. As for the fit, they seem hard to find still.

I am surprised also, after 2 years of sale
I do see that some gameshops have it in stock, and my local Target store has it also.

By the way, this kind of sale post doesn't mean much here. By the time people read this post and go to amazon, Wii is sold out again.

I played my Wii once a while in the beginning (got it when it first out). But when I realized that the main style of the Wii games ("family" game, aka kid game) won't fit me, I finally give up and exchanged the Wii to the Xbox 360 elite with a guy, after one and a half year of play. When I checked the calender inside the Wii before I give it away, I found out that I had played less than 10 time in the pass year.

Thanks Precocious! I have all of the above already ;) but I have a friend who just bought the Wii at Amazon who is now looking for a Wii fit. She has a while to go before Christmas so I hope she'll be able to use this to get one.
 
Well, i work at circuit city and we get or wii's on sunday's if we get them. We recieved a few this last sunday, and we still have 2 left, and tomorrow it's gonna be three days we still have them. That's a record! The popular thing that is hard to get now is the wii fit and Mario Cart the game. So if you see that get it.
 
I have seen the WII in stock at both Babbage and Costco in the Tampa area this week.

I used the wii alert last week and got Mario Kart & Wii fit from Circuit City ;)
