YMMV with buy.com orders. I placed one order with them a while back - got the item and the rebate just fine in decent time. I placed an order on 6/4 for the 4 GB version of this same item and it never shipped even though it still says ships in 1-2 business days on the site. Customer service can't explain why and the supervisor that was supposed to call me back by 5PM two days ago still has not. I had to cancel the order so as not to miss the rebate deadline.

I still might try them again, I'm a sucker for a good deal ...that's why I'm here.

It is not "concerns", it is a fact with buy.com but none the less, looking at my rebate log (yes, I do keep one going back 2 1/2 years), Sandisk has also stiffed me and 2 of my coworkers on rebates....

Rebate

Bought several items from buy.com with a rebate and all the rebates were denied at first. They stated I did not provide all necessary information. I called the 800 number provided in the letters and they sent me the rebate checks. I did not even have to send in further information. Strange, why did they first state that information was missing! I strongly believe they deny a majority of the rebates but honor them once you call.

I just bought the 2GB Cruzer Micro today at Buy.com. It's now $22.99 with free Budget shipping and the $20 Sandisk rebate is still valid through tomorrow. That means $2.99 AR. I'll take my chances with the rebate -- I've done well with Young America previously.

I bought this BUY.COM item when this posted (end of June) I just received it the end of last week. The rebate states it has to be postmarked by July 24th. And am therefore screwed out of the $20.00 rebate. Never again will I buy from Buy.com.
