(Sold Out) Target / Bestbuy / CC - Chance to Get Wii Before Christmas

Bestbuy / Target / Circuit City stores are holding their Nintendo Wii console systems for the morning of 12/17/06.

Many stores are opening up at 8am.

If you need it for a gift for Christmas, this will be the time to line up for it.

I need to get one of these for my girlfriend. I am not going to be lining up, but I work at 6AM a few blocks away from BB. I'm a loner here on the weekends, so I am going to be swining by to see if people are lining up. When they do I am going to have to join them.

Target and Gamestop/EB Games held their shipment for 12/17 as well. SO if you strike out at Best Buy try one of these. Also Gamestop/EB tend to open later.

NOooooOOOooo!!!

The more people you tell, the earlier that I will have to get in line! Aggghhh!

:verysad:  :teeth:  :clown:

I work for Circuit City, and each store should have 20 Wii for the Sunday Sale. So get there early! :)

question. i have circuit city, target and best buy around here but just can't get in line. possible to order with Circuit city online and do a store pick up?

Figured I should let everyone know, I live in NY and both the toys r us and gamestop I went to had them in stock and on shelves here with no issues obtaining it. Aside from the god awful lines at the cashier that is.

Can anyone tell me if this is just for the US or are the Canadian Best Buys and Gamestop doing it too. I need Wii. Starting to get disheartened. I appreciate it.

I got the early edition of the Sunday paper... it is confirmed that Target, Circuit City, and Best Buy will all be selling Wiis, and most stores open at 8AM... and most stores will have at least 15 units to sell...

console or bundle?

Can we get the WII without the bazillions of games? (budget you know)

Yeah, these are not bundle's.

I drove passed Best Buy already, HAH their is about 15-20 people already. And it's freaking cold outside it's about 24 degress + their is also snow on the ground.

the insanity continues, people willing to get frostbite over an overpriced system, same with ps3:druel:

Well, I just came back from best buy. Got there at 5:30 and there was a line of about 30 people, some of them camped overnight. They handed out tickets at 7am and only had 20. So much for that pamphlet going around saying each store was to have a minimum of 40 units.

i finally got my wii....went to target @ 130 this morning and there was already 12 people there i was number 13...they had 15 total and about 50 people were lined up

Got a Wii

We decided the only way was to camp over night - thankfully in NC it wasn't *that* cold. We were at Circuit City. People had started lining up at 3:30 in the afternoon - by 8:30 we were at the max (10 units) - we got there around 8:00 pm and were #9. Yikes. Thankfully all 10 people were really nice and we actually had a fun time hanging out together. And yes, we now have a Wii!!:claps: :claps:

Congrats guys!

I expected to get it a hour before opening...

Boy was I really wrong.

FOr those (like myself) who missed out on the PS3 or Wii, there is still an opportunity to make money.... buy STOCK in Nintendo and Sony. Their 4th quarter earinings should be hefty and projected outlook for 1Q2007 should be great.
