The difference is in the speed. 2700 is SLOWER than 3200. But you Board may not be able to use the faster speed. If you bought a computer that was already built, Like a Compaq ect.. find the owners manual or look you model # up online, and it will tell you what TYPE of memory to use, and what speed. I have a P4 3 Gig, and it uses the FASTER 3200 Memory. And My older AMD 2100 1.6 Gig Uses the 2700 Memory. Hope this Helps!

Even though link says "temporarily unavailable", you can still try by doing this...

Enter "VGDDR32X64PC3200" in the Buy.Com Search box. You now get the same exact PC3200 which the first link (which showed "temporarily unavailable") gave you. However, Buy.Com will charge you $5.52 s/h, even though the icon supposedly said "qualifies for free shipping". There is no way I could tinker with the site to get my free s/h. Don't know if $10-$11 is a good price for 256MB PC3200 DDR. Will have to think this over!
