My friend's brother works for amazon and he told me that amazon is going to have Xbox 360 for $100 on sale on Black Friday. I do not know if its the core or the premium system yet (i will try to post that after confirming soon). Also this guy is a legit source, so I am pretty sure it might be up. So if you guys are looking for a great holiday gift, try going to amazon on friday and check it out.

That is true, but keep in mind that you will need to buy an extra accessory to play HD-DVDs. Still, this is a great deal! =D
 
yea, the HD-DVD player for xbox its arround $200
so, it would be arround $300 total.. still cheap for a hd-dvd player

Just a word of warning, you are going to have a very, very, very difficult time getting in on this deal. There are only 1000 available, so if you want to have any chance, you need to be at the right Amazon.com page before 11am, already have an account, and be ready to refresh the page until the link becomes active.

Don't be surprised if you're shutout of getting one at that price very quickly, even if you're all set and ready to click. Good luck!!

Yes - all xbox 360 games are in HD (as far as I know) with the basic system. But to play HD DVD movies, you would need the upgrade package.

Today, thursday, they are probably gonna let yo add it to a cart, but come back Friday at 11am to purchase. :-)

One-click ordering is definitely an advantage in this situation.

I just may have to stick around until 2pm EST to see if I have a chance at this.
