Solved - Whats up with my PM's???

It keeps saying I have 1 unread message but all of my messages have been viewed. I have no unread messages????? What's going on???? I also like that new icon that flashes to tell you when you have a new PM, but I have no new PMs and it won't go away. lol

It is probably because we had someone going around here yesterday PM spamming the members. Spoofee deleted all the PM's that person had sent out.

Now to figure out how to fix everything else, well umm... :doh:

its fixed! I ended up deleting everything in my mailbox and it cleared it out. Thanks!!

Me too and I don't want to delete all my PMs.

Okay I think I cleaned up the DB now.

Now, if you send or receive a message, the numbers of messages will be reset to the correct value.

Figured out what to do. I marked message as read, then I was able to delete it.

Got it finally fixed SharonL.
If anyone is seeing "unread" messages when they aren't suppose to have any, send yourself a message and delete that message and the # will be correct.

bumpity....I haven't logged in for a year (always lurking on the home page)

anyhow, I have the dreaded 1 unread PM with no pms in the inbox. I can't seem to send myself a message as I don't see the link in my control panel. Any help is appreciated.
