Someone broke into my car =(

I know this gets a little personal, but I visited Los Angeles last weekend and the very first night my car was broken into.

There was a huge rock in the car and my Belkin GPS which I bought when Belkin had the 50% off, Tiffany Gift Card which I bought on ebay, fake Kenneth Cole sunglasses I bought at a flea market, and about $10 in change were stolen.

The police really did not care. They told me it happens so often I need to bring my car in to get it finger printed. I brought it in, but they did not really try.

I know I know.. I was a fool for leaving anything yummy visible in the car. After speaking to some locals, everyone's respose was "well.. welcome to LA." Now I always keep my car clean. There is no change or any type of electronics.

I thought I got a good deal on my GPS, gift card, etc. , but whoever broke into my car got a HOT DEAL! LOL

Ouch, that's really a shame. Well, at least the GPS things aren't that expensive anymore, and another Belkin deal will come around.

It came around today But I think I'll pass on it. Only used it on road trips which I probably won't do anymore.

They said I have a $500 deductable, and my loss was less than that so I didn't claim anything. Slavin4u, I did not even think of that.. but I'll keep it in mind if there is a next time.
