What if you put together a march that was to include thousands of people, and once you got where you were headed to....

NOBODY was home (insert eary music here):teeth:

The timing wasn't perfect, but the message of out-of-control government spending was good.

and I LOVE OBAMA... I think he has done more great things in the short time he has been in office then any other President:loving:

so many people are picking on him just because he isn't white.

It's also because some people still think that even though the people of our country elected this guy to be president of the United States and they don't like him that anything he comes up with is wrong and must be stopped and that HE must fail which certainly won't impact the country (you have to put the correct spin on it and you'll unerstan).

(Osama Bin Laden doesn't have to siht any more either - he's watching us tear ourselves apart)
 
I am totally not the political type, and I HATE to watch the news, my husband sits there with CNN, FOX, and whatever other 6 news channels on direct TV news mix and just scrolls left, right up down, he drives me insane, I would much rather watch Tom and Jerry, or if I really have to be a grown up make it Paula Dean or Bronwyn Weber on the cake shows, I like Alton Brown too, me and the kids can watch him together, anyway, so my hubby is watching this whole tea party march on washington and even comments on how some of our friends from church will be at the march, next news report is on how Obama is going out of town for the weekend, and I did the do doo doo doo doo doo doo, you know, the theme music to that non scary scary show that is hosted by an equally non scary scary skeleton, and I say what if ya held a political march and the person you were sending the message to, wasn't even home. Then I do a knock knock knock on his head and the sound effect of a squeal of a door opening, excuse me kind sir or madam, would the president happen to be home? Oh no, well, we'll just wait, DUH! I wonder if the message fell on deaf ears, or just ones not willing to listen! So anyway that was my animated version of what I saw on the news before I finally regained control of the remote, :teeth:

LOL, I just get sick of people saying he is the first BLACK president, and he is being picked on because he is black, and racist this and, CUT THE CRAP (as grandma lee would say) He is the president, he is neither fully white nor is he fully black, he applied for a job and he got it, with all the crap that comes along with it, EVERY president has been picked on, each and EVERY last one, it has nothing to do with whether his toenails are purple and his fingernails are pink, he's the president, some people aren't going to like him.

Why are you (or actually creddybears) turning it into a racial debate? I see no reason for it.

I, and many many others was not one of those "people", so his mere election into the ofice does not change my mind about his politics. I hate him and everything that his cabinet stands for and does, but not because of the color of his skin. But....what are you going to do?........we just have to wait another 3 years for the next "messiah".

I think Carter speaks sooth as does Ult. The problem is that a LOT of those who disagree with Obama are racist and the Republican Party is not discouraging them that I can see.
