What song makes you sweat?

I need some help picking out some new music for my work outs. Does anyone have any recommendations? I like the tempo to be ~138 bpm, but I'm open to all types of genres.

BTW: My all time favorite work out song is Move Any Mountain by the Shamen from the 90s. Just an FYI.

THANKS!

"take on me" by a-ha is a perfect running pace for me.. not sure of the bpm though. i've found that anything i really like jumping around to makes a good workout song. i'll see what i can find out and post later :)

I love working out to louder heavier music. Any Linkin Park usually fits the bill for me.

Also Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, another great workout song.

how about any cheesy C&C music factory of technotronic??

THANKS FOR THE WEBSITE REFS! They're awesome!

When I did a google search for songs that were ~138 bpm I kept on getting lists and lists of underground dj sites with really obscure music. suthrnqt & clubchick, you guys are great at finding good sites!

Keep 'em coming! This is great! I appreciate all the ideas and will check out all the songs!

any song by wierd al yankovic, start with "eat it"

Manu Chao is really good
especially if you speak: English, Spanish, French, or African
because all of his songs are in those languages lol
he's really uptempo and great to dance/workout/etc. to!

Thanks for posting the webcam movie of you bopping to your favorite song wade! That's so special!

If only that were me. That guys so popular, I thought everyone knew about the numa numa dance! le sigh.

Anyhoo, back to the question at hand.

Music that works for me for work outs is techno with a strong beat. The great thing about techno music is that it really takes almost no skill to make it, so theres free stuff everywhere on the internet.

any hip-hop would also work
but if you're into rock, check out the libertines
they have really fast garage rock and its great
but i REALLY, REALLY recommend MANU CHAO

I'm not kidding around, folks; CHECK HIM OUT!!! :suspect:

Sure...we have a nice mix of techno and bluegrass down here. You've never lived til you've heard a synthesized banjo and string bass with a good beat behind it.

You know, I started that off as a joke...but it kinda sounds pretty fun.... :hmm: :hmm:
