I'm lookin for a brand new, unbranded, factory fresh SE Z600. I'm also looking for the SE HBH-660.. I can get the headset on eBay still, but it seems all the NIB phones are gone now from any reputable person. Anyone have some leads? I'd like to pass my T68i on to a relative here, but can't do so until I get a new one. TIA

Just curious, what carrier do you use?

Cingular.. Now AT&T Cingular... My first phone was a PacBell branded Ericsson T28 World, years later (2-3) I choose to upgrade and wise up.. I hit up eBay for a Factory NIB Sony Ericsson T68i. Now, I like the phone and all that, and Really like that it ain't branded, options aren't disabled and I can throw any sim card it in I want. But I'm ready to upgrade again and refuse to give them any money and sign my ass back up with a contract to get a few bucks off a pos phone they sell. Hence why I'm here for a SE Z600 Factory NIB.. :D

p.s. My phone during the AT&T / Cingular merge couldn't pick which carrier it wanted due to being unlocked.. Was kinda humorous actually, but sure did come in handy while sitting on the 5 South headed to San Deigo one day.. Tanker or something turned over and traffic was stopped for hours.. Cingular network was unavailable due to being packed with ppl chatting.. I switched to AT&T and went, W00T!! hehe Since then they've got the whole thing worked out and now coverage is even better I think.. Used to, in my crib, Cingular signal sucked, but now that it'll switch to AT&T, I get a better signal.. sweet!

Pretty cool.

Yeah, I'm a legacy AT&T Wireless, and now Cingular customer and I can tell you that the Cingular GSM roaming around here (which has been enabled for a while) REALLY helps. One disadvantage of it was that AT&T was billing mobile to mobile calls as anytime minutes if you were roaming on Cingular, but now mobile to mobile is free anywhere, structured like Cingular's plans. The roaming really helps out in buildings since Cingular owns the 850MHz GSM license around here and AT&T only operates on 1900.

I really love my service though, and my plan can't be beat. No one uses AT&T around here because their reputation is so bad, but there are a good handful on Cingular. All the rich ****s use Verizon because they think it's so good. I personally think it's horrible. My girlfriend has it and I routinely get service where she doesn't on AT&T/Cingular.

See, out here I've heard the same and different.. Verizon ppl seem to gloat in delight of having the best service out there for some reason. AT&T ppl "always" complained for some reason and Cingular customers stayed fairly content as the service was okay enough and hearing others complain made us feel better.. Personally, I don't like the carriers that don't use simable phones such as Verizon and Sprint. Why on earth should I be forced to buy my phone from you as well as pay you monthly for service.. At least I can go on eBay or such and pickup whatever phone I want. Talk about choices!

The Mobile to Mobile thing I think was Cingulars to begin with then Verizon copied and now Sprint. It's nice to have as long as your family/buddies use the same carrier. I can believe AT&T would try something like that during the changeover.. Greedy bastards.

The service these days is okay everywhere I go I think. Haven't been to Burbank yet tho.. My only qualm is with the bill.. That and the plan I have is better then the current offerings and I'd like more minutes/options.. I wish they'd lower the price on GPRS.. 20 a month for unlimited use is a bit high, and you could go thru the 2meg for 10bucks in a hurry.. If they'd offer up unlimited for 10 but without all the useless MMS/SMS, I'd be happy... While I'm stuck in traffic I could surf the net, that'd be cool.. Probably get in trouble searching eBay tho.. lol
