She LOVES it and I still can't believe it. At least she let me take a picture with her before and after. :clown:

Thanks, bluesky!!! The before was from Disney earlier this year and the after was from this weekend at the Big Apple Circus.

As far as your question, butty, NO!! Charzilla likes being the sister with longer hair. Plus I won't let my baby girl ever get it cut. ;)
 
Very cool cut! Plus shorter hair is much easier. There is less yelling about knots and such. LOL

Very cute Big Daddy....I know what you mean about the hair cuts. My little one only had her first haircut at Disney this year....almost 3 years old and not even a trim.:eek:
 
Thanks faerie and preco!!! It is much easier to handle now, especially with swimming and squeezing it into a swimcap.

Although the only reason she got it cut was because her two best friends just did it (darn peer pressure starting already :mad:). The important thing is that she loves it, it does look good and she actually loves brushing her hair now.

FYI we of course donated her hair to a Locks of Love type organization.
 
That's great to hear BD. That is the reason Amber got her hair cut in the first place. She's had her hair short for about two years now and is wanting it long again. Locks of Love is a great organization!

Locks of Love only accepted 10" or more and Soph only had around 9" so we had to give it somewhere else since they accepted 8" or more. I of course don't know the name.:o
 
Oh! Well as long as she was able to donate it. Did the place you donated to give you a follow up address? When I donated mine they told me to check their website out and they would let me know where the hair went to and what it looks like on the child. I bet Sophie would get a kick out of that. :)
 
It's great to hear that you donated the hair to Locks. A friend of mine does the same thing. Sophie looks fantastic as always ;)
 
Sophie looks much older with her hair cut Bd. The boys will be chasing her soon ya know! :date: ;)

Not that anyone asked :o but here's a pic right after her haircut. Notice the way Charzilla is looking at her planning her attack to steal the limelight.

When Soph got home she couldn't stay away from the mirror even more (if that's possible) admiring herself. By the time I got home, she was talking to her reflection in the back door (because it was dark out) saying "Hello. What's new? Oh just my new haircut." and then she'd swoop her head around to show how it goes back into place. :doh:
 
That's priceless. Charlotte does look like she pondering something. Maybe she is wondering why she didn't get a sucker?? lol

Either way, I better hurry up and finish my attic, so I can lock her in there for her teen years. :tongue:

FYI I'm sure that Charzilla already had at least one lollipop, if not more while waiting. Char usually just starts biting and chewing on them right away and finishes them in no time. Soph on the other hand wants them to last because she knows she doesn't get sweets that often. ;)
