When was the last time you've heard anyone WIN any sweepstakes or online contests?

I think they gather your info for spamming / telemarketing purposes only. There is no way to check who won what if anything. I like how they say to make it look legit: "This month's winner: Congratulations to Ricka Doerr of Danube, MN!" Yeah....ok. I can also make up names and randomly assign them to some locations. :confused:

Most of these things are scams, in my opinion. Anyone feels differently? :look:

OK you guys...
I win things all the time online. I just won the nikwax. Today I got an e-mail from BH&G saying I won a Swarovski crystal contest they had.

Congratulations! Your name has been drawn as one of our daily winners in the Swarovski Holiday Gift Sweepstakes that took place on BHG.com. You are eligible to receive a Swarovski gift (retail value $60).

We have provided Swarovski with your name and the mailing address you used on the sweepstakes entry form, and they anticipate shipping the gifts on or around March 10, 2006. The gifts will be shipping International mail, so will take some time to arrive at your home.

I've won lots of things: games, money, a digital camera, a huge basket with quilt material and supplies inside, DVD's, a ton of stuff. I've even won airline tickets twice. Don't be so skeptical! It's fun and just requires patience. So next month when the name is up for who won this spice rack, which is from a valid company, it could be you! :D

No, I did, and the spices are really fantastic. Keep trying!

I also win things, as a SAHM, sweeping has become a hobby of mine.
