My tip is....

If you wash your dishes by hand, next time you go to buy the dish liquid try dishwashing gel instead (the type you put in an automatic dishwasher) We made the switch and got a $3.00 bottle of dish washing gel and it lasts so much longer! It doesn't suds as much but it cleans better than any dish liquid I have ever used, not to mention it cuts grease ten times better. Try this out, it's going to save me alot of money in the long run, maybe even enough to finally get the dishwasher I always wanted, LOL!!

If you get blood on any type cloth (sock, shirt, pillow case, wash cloth etc) spot-check it with peroxide - peroxide will remove most of the blood, then the rest comes out in the laundry.

Peroxide is inexpensive and will save on buying more to replace soiled item.

Gel, no-rinse hand sanitizer also works great on those unexpected stains. It removes permanent marker from table tops, food stains on your shirt/pants ect.

It is less expensive than the 'stain-sticks' or buying 'shout' and it seems that more & more people have the hand sanitizer in their homes.

I wash down all my kitchen cabinets with dishwasher detergent and warm water. Cuts the grease like there's no tomorrow. Also the stove hood.....

It also works well for polyester blends white garments....like no iron, under shirts, etc.......it brightens them well (gets rid of the 'gray'). Dilute dishwater detergent in hot, hot water...add garments and soak (overnight works best)..then launder as usual. Works great. BTW Doesn't deteriorate the elasticity nor make other colors run/fade.

Also for kitchen towels, soak in hot, hot water with dishwasher detergents first...

BTW I use the powder form for the above.

White vinegar also works great as a dandelion weed killer,will kill grass also so be aware of that, but in rockeries etc. works great.Lots cheaper than Roundup.
