the DVD 16X burner.

Didn't have to go at 5AM and wait in the cold and only 2
people ahead of me at checkout.

After coupons and MIR I made about $17 on the burner.
I did use a Business Rewards check to sweeten the deal.

After coupons and MIR I made about $3 on the Maxtor
with no rewards check.

And best of all the CSR's were friendly and I didn't have
any hassles at all.

someone gave me a $15 off coupon card.


For the hard drive I had two other discount coupons that were

I went to staples at 6:10. It opened at 6:00 there were about 60 people and huge lines for each register.

Every year, there are HUGE lines at my local Staples and they run out of things quickly. So this year, I was one of the first in line. Well worth it too. I got that 200gig HD (already installed, formatted and partitioned it), as well as a 512mb SD card for only $15. My mother and I both got a paper shredder with a rebate that'll make it free.

FYI. The DVD+R rebate now works. It was not working over the weekend. The DVD-R was ok, just not the DVD+R one. I just submitted it and it took this time.

I forgot to put the coupons codes in when I ordered (it was like 11:58 Friday night...) and realized the next day when I did the rebate stuff on line.

I sent a polite email to Staples saying that I would need to cancel the order if the coupons could not be entered after the fact which they clearly state.

They added all the coupons for the order NP. $81!!

Sweet!! And no lines!!! I don't do 6 AM unless something is burning!!
