Staples - Brother PT-80 Personal Labeler for $9.99 After Rebate

Ain't that a *****. I just bought a Brother RPT1880 for $18.00 from sellout.woot last week. That was a good deal but this would have served me as well.
 
I never understand how these things are rated and who makes the determination... "burning hot deal?" To me a burning hot deal is one that is FREE after rebate or under $5, including shipping. This deal? I'd call it a good deal, but not burning hot.

The rating are supplied by Spoofee visitors. I'm pretty sure new deals are not rated.
 
I bought one of these for the same price a while ago, but never received my rebate, and it was only a $10 rebate then. At $10 it would have been a good deal, as the device works well for $10, however it devours my batteries in no time, even with 2750 recharchables.
 
A lot of vendors not returning rebates lately. Downright illegal.
