Errr should my car total be $0 plus tax? Or do I get a store credit for a future purchase?
 
I wonder if I could order one, and then use the rewards toward ordering the second one. That way I'm only spending $14 (with tax) and getting both sets of batteries. I could then save the rest of the rewards for another time when I need it.

Did this deal expired or what? I can't get it to $0 during the checkout. It still shows the price for the batteries and shipping, and I've tried shipping to the store too, but still won't show as Free.
 
So rewards are given at the end of the quarter, so if we buy this now we get a rewards card later....
 
for clarification, you still have to pay $12.99 per pack at the time of checkout, this is just a clever rebate program, but instead of a check its store credit. You should get the store credit in janurary
 
Aren't staples reward credits also time limited? IIRC, don't you have to spend it within the 30 days of receiving it or else lose it? I shop so little @ Staples that I'm not sure about this, but I just seem to recall this being an issue in the past w/ this type of reward. So you end up buying stuff you don't need and/or it's overpriced just to beat the deadline.
 
I've had a staples cash card for almost 2 years since they have been stinking up the place in terms of value.

Yea, I think you're correct. My last Staples Rewards credit that I received for printer ink cartridge recycling had a expiration date on it that was something like 30 days from when I received it.
 
Just ordered with a wireless mouse. Was able to get it shipped for free for a total order of $45. Woot!

I thought there was some law about having no expiration... on Gift Cards... if this "Rewards Credit" falls under that... ... guess you can't use it toward the purchase of a gift card....
