can I combine these offers with coupons from ebay $30 of $150 or similar, will the rebates work later? thanks

I was told by staples that I could use the coupon... but not on a rebate item. For example, buy peachtree accounting for $140, then mcaffee for $21 (so you are now over $150). Buy something else for $30+ ($30 off $150 coupon) and it will be free. ***** WARNING: The coupon is not automatically taken off total... they apply it to individual items. If they apply the coupon to one of your rebate items, it will make the rebate invalid... so make sure they apply it to the full price item/items (even if they have to break it up and apply it to multiple items that you want for your $30)!!! I did this about 6 mos ago when i bought my copy of peachtree (& a phone) & it worked fine w/rebates (plus I got $30 worth of freebies).

I bought the phone as my other rebate item... I do not like it at all. The volume either can't be adjusted (or I have not figured it out yet) - either way, it is very difficult to hear callers! But hey, it was free

I did have a delay in receiving the peachtree rebate... so after the 8 weeks (or whatever their time frame is) - I called them & they put a rush on it. I got it the following week! Love staples easyrebates even if they were late!

I did all this in the store (not online)... I dont' know how any of this would work online or even if you can do it??? I would also verify w/an employee (or manager... that is what I did) and he gave me the tip to have them apply the coupon to my non-rebate items!!!
