Well, none of the Staples around me carry it, and according to the rep I spoke with, they haven't carried this model in a while. I can't get irritated for not finding out about it sooner, but with all the kids we know heading to college this fall, that would've made an excellent gift.

when i was there there were only 114 left in stock, in the system, nation wide. THe matching file cabinet thing is on sale also for $20.50 but they seem to be even rarer.

Also, dont feel bad about not being able to snag one for a college kid. THese thigs are HEAVY. 50kgs it says on the box, 110lbs. Also, its 4 feet wide, i dont know many dorm rooms that would be able to fit a 4 foot table in them comfortably (or even a dorm room that doesn't come prefurnished with cookie cutter desks.)
