Starbucks thinks woman is homeless-kicks her and coffee out on to the street

Starbucks is a nasty company......it's shown again and again.....:thumbs_do
 
That is just terrible!!!..So what if she was homeless, she wanted to spend the money she had in their establishment!!..If she was homeless she wouldn't have been for long once she got a good lawyer and I think that she should because she was discriminated against!! :rant:
 
Homeless or not, a paying customer is a paying customer. I can understand not wanting a bunch of people who arent buying anything just sitting around and using my facilities, drinking my water, asking patrons for change, whatever.. but if you buy a cup of coffee, youre a customer. And the customer should be allowed to enjoy her coffee in the establishment in which she purchased said coffee. Who cares if she goes to a house or a box when she's done?

Maybe next time, she wont dress like a homeless person. lol
 
My first thought is if I were homeless, the last place I would be is in Starbucks purchasing a $4 coffee.

Regardless of how she was dressed or where she does or does not "live" if she had cash + made purchase = profit for Starbucks. I think it's just bad publicity on their part.
 
As any other private business, they reserve the rights to refuse service to anyone.........

But, once the business has offered the service by taking customer's money, it has no right to kick people out for no wrongful doing, as facility use is included in the price of a purchased item.
 
As much as I like Starbucks (:rolleyes: ) it was up the the manager in charge to make that decision. The whole corporation can't be faulted for it. It wouldn't affect me (me not being the victim) going back if I liked the coffee. If that kind of behavior was to continue I would just find another Starbucks to take my business to. While I realize that that manager was trained by Starbucks....it would be a fair guess to say that they took matters into their own hands.

starbucks is really wierd
first they forgot my choclate drizzle
then they didn't have and choclate ships so they couldnt prepare my beverage.
but now this is messed up.
