What have you taught your pet to do?

I taught my dog to actually say, "out". When she needs to do her business, she comes over to me, I ask her what she wants, she says, "out".

My female dog is DUMB, the only trick she knows is to bark incesantly at the door. (no I did not teach her that one  ) My male dog does all the normal dog tricks and I taught him how to give hugs and high fives. :proud: Amber taught him what the word kisses means. :)

I've gotta hear that. Record it and post on Spoofee! :bigok:

I once taught a coon dog how to type. Big mistake. Big, big mistake.

Our kitty was so amazing

We would shoot rubber bands, he would run like a run like hell after them (like they were going to escape?), bring them back and drop them at our feet, bugging us until we shot them again for him to chase. We got tired of this way earlier than he did. He was a rescued feral, and never really 'got' that he was actually a cat.

One of the other many weird things he did was to lie on the floor in the basement every morning with my husband, "helping" him do his excercises, trying to contort his body to do everything just the way my husband was doing it. I had to put him to sleep a few weeks ago, which broke my heart.

(If the picture thingy works, please excuse the view of my hubby's hiney. Trying to make the 350 pic into <100, not sure I can put it here?)

Edit -
okay, couldn't figure it out after all, so made the pic my avatar.

By the way, the "he" I put to sleep was the cat.

Let me see what I can do, although I'm not promising anything and it may take a while. I must think through the equipment, logistics and of course...the dog would have to cooperate...*no one in this house cooperates**shakes head*.....

BTW....You must've used great effort and......he still can't type......and why didn't you teach him to stay behind the fence?

P.S. Rescue pets are great! Great cat story Heidi (your hubby's got a nice butt too!-I'd recognize him anywhere :p), sorry you had to put him to sleep...the cat:(
