Subway is offering any foot long sandwich for $5.

This promotion has been going on for a month or so and I was told by Subway, it'll go on for about two more months

- It might be worth calling your local Subway to make sure they have this offer
 
Our Subway is no longer offering this. Only a select few are $5. Just had a tuna one for dinner.
 
1. not all subways have this deal, i was in laughlin last weekend and 2 nearby stores only 1 had the offer

2. not all footlongs are $5, in LA/SD we have 8 types and it's on the permanent menu due to popularity
 
In the Chicago-Area, the 8 subs that were $5 became permanent because of popularity.
 
I think the 8 subs on the menu for $5 is a nation-wide deal. Spoofee, I'm afraid you might need to revise this one.
 
The only Subway in my area that are still offering this are in Walmart stores. So this is a big YMMV.
 
I live in MA and it's been $5 for a quite a long time now.
 
There was a national campaign for several months that had $5 for ALL footlong subs, but that ended a few weeks ago.

Now, they have a subset of their menu for $5 (basically, the cheaper ones subs, like "cold cut combo" and "meatball"). It's possible that that pricing may last for a while. All of the "fancier" sandwiches are back to their normal prices.
 
The last time I went, it was all of the sandwiches in my area, but sounds like mileage varies. I think Subway threw a right hook to Quiznos and Quiznos recently threw back a "Go Large for $5" (on select sandwiches -- Oven-roasted Turkey and Cheddar, Honey Ham and Swiss, Tuna Melt and Roast Beef and Cheddar). I typically flip-flop between the two based on promos!
 
Just as a side note, some Blimpies are doing this also. I dunno if its a nationwide thing, but the Blimpies near my work is having a $5 deal for select subs as well. You may want to check and call just to make sure.

Yummy, I love Subway! I won a $20 GC last month from some contest.
 
i'm always worried that the subway closest to me won't have this deal because they tend not to be a "participating location" in most promotions. it's just that we're near so many huge, corporate office buildings that they get plenty of lunchtime business. they don't need to draw in any more customers.

Even if my local Subway offers this, I don't get the hype.
