We're heading to Sunny California for Thanksgiving... We'll be renting a house on Sunset Beach.

All right all of you beachcombers and just "regular" CA locals... I need your help!

Any tips on outings and such?
Any deals/tips?
Restaurant suggestions? especially for Thanksgiving?

For Thanksgiving dinner, I go to Picadilly Cafeteria since its too much trouble to cook for myself, its not so bad.

Any festivities or anything going on in this neck of the woods during the week of Thanksgiving? I'm really sad that we are going to be missing the Christmas Parade, etc around here. Anything similar in or around Sunset Beach? Huntington Beach area?

Thats great, I'm sure you'll enjoy it on the water. You should be able to find a bunch of stuff to do.

I'm not sure what’s going on when you're visiting but there’s usually something happening all the time. Main Street in HB has some really good and fun places to eat. If you have youngsters that like the ocean you may consider going to the Long Beach Aquarium. Google Google Google.

All I need to know is where and when do I show up for the bar-b-que?
