Symantec is trying to say I did not purchase my product (Norton SystemWorks Premiere 12) with rebate during the correct time period. I purchased it 02-18-09 at Fry's/outpost.com) They are fighting me over it. here is info from the rebate form. (note: 2 part rebate: purchase $50.00, upgrade proof $20.00) They are fighting me over the upgrade proof. So far my $50.00 purchase rebate has not been processed. I want the legal community and all buyers to know the BS they are pulling!

I have used their rebates for many years, this is the first time Symantec is pulling this BS on my rebates! They send an email saying it was not valid:

Did you reply to Ivette and notify her that 09/15/2009 hasn't occurred yet?

By the way, file a copy of the issue with your state attorney general and let them go after Symantec.

I called them this morning, they fixed it and is Valid! I didn't have to do antyhing, my guess is the programmers didn't have the correct rebate data in their computers. Then they fixed it over the weekend. In any case.. I am getting the money! yippee, a whole $20.00 plus the other $50.00.. total = $70.00 :teeth:
